Company History & Evolution
JCPL, formally known as “JAGANNATH NAMAK UDYOG” was started by Mr. Navrang Lal Agarwal (CHAIRMAN) in 1983 as an Entrepreneur in the salt trading and production of COMMON SALT (production area of approx 250 Bhiga), located at Gram - AOU, Distt. - Ajmer. In 1987, after successful experience of 4 years in salt industry, Mr. Navrang Lal Agarwal had started the production of NON REFINED IODISED SALT in Nawa City.
In August 2008 the company was registered as a private limited company, under the Companies Act 1956.
With the 10 years experience and knowledge of Mr. Yogesh Gupta (DIRECTOR) in production & marketing of Refined Iodised and Industrial Salt, JCPL has started refinery for the production of REFINED FREE FLOW IODISED SALT on April 27, 2009 and the Factory was inaugurated by the then Salt Commissioner of India, Mr. S. Sundaresan.
What We Do
- As of now JCPL’s total Production is nearby 1,75,000 Tonnes per annum.
- Manufacturing of Refined Free Flow Iodised Salt, nearby 62% of total production, i.e. 1,08,500 Tonnes per annum.
- Manufacturing of Refined Free Flow Industrial Salt, nearby 15% of total production, i.e. 26,250 Tonnes per annum.
- Manufacturing of Refined Salt, nearby 5% of total production, i.e. 8,750 Tonnes per annum.
- In respect of better quality and future demand of IRON-ADDED Iodised salt, JCPL has also started manufacturing of Double Fortified Salt, from May, 2016. The DFS production as of now is, nearby 18% of total production, i.e. 31,500 Tonnes per annum.
